I believe in creating a sustainable future that puts ethics and the planet at the forefront of decision making. Well-designed living spaces are core to a healthy society, both for people to thrive, and to help look after our world.

I think it’s important to think with a long-term perspective, and since buildings last for far longer than we do, I see the opportunity in the property industry to affect change.

I’m also a hard-nosed practical man, and care about doing jobs properly, so working on a construction project brings together my skills and passions.

I’ve seen where projects go wrong because of poor oversight and love the satisfaction when a job goes well.

That’s why I started the EPC Doctor, to help homeowners and housing associations across Scotland to improve our baseline housing stock, starting with energy efficiency.
